NEW · ESG human-capital wellbeing solution

Recovery and connection, awakened through the five senses

Comfort of your own, served on a plate; a pause in everyday life, filled through the five senses — the ESG human-capital wellbeing solution ‘PuNolChi’ workshop

“Sustainable management begins here: the most complete human capital is ‘the healthy minds of your people’.”

1. Program overview

A professional five-senses expressive arts therapy program that prevents the chronic job stress and burnout of employees who have been running hard amid fierce competition, and helps achieve ‘protection of employee mental health and an advanced EAP’ — the core of the Social (S) area required by global ESG disclosure standards (GRI, SASB).

Combining neuroscience (neuroplasticity through sensory stimulation) with positive psychology (the PERMA model), it builds non-verbal healing and psychological safety through familiar food ingredients.

  • Preventing burnout and easing stress — Lowers the pressure of talk-based counseling, releases pent-up emotions through familiar food media and strengthens resilience.
  • Building psychological safety — Non-verbal connecting activities that break down barriers of rank and generation establish a culture of mutual respect and horizontal communication.
  • Developing self-care skills — Goes beyond a one-off event to establish sustainable wellbeing routines with which people manage their own stress in daily life.

4. Expected outcomes

  • Putting ESG management into practice (Social indicators) — Contributes to meeting GRI 403 and SASB human-capital disclosure requirements (protecting employee mental health and raising EAP participation).
  • Higher productivity and engagement — Prevents emotional exhaustion and spreads positive emotion, reducing turnover and raising engagement at work.
  • Renewing organizational culture — Breaks down walls between departments and builds healthy bonds for a psychologically safe workplace.

  • Team leaders and middle managers
  • Employees in roles at high risk of burnout (e.g. emotional-labor roles, IT developers, customer centers)

Year-round program based on K-Therapy FEAT

A PuNolChi corporate wellbeing journey, quarter by quarter

Quarterly courses that follow the rhythm of the year: self-discovery, deep healing, team communication and integrated reflection.

Q1 · First quarter

My true feelings, awakened through the five senses

Self-discovery and onboarding

A fresh start: employees’ wellbeing, awakened through the five senses

A self-awareness solution for onboarding new hires and refreshing the whole company

Overview

Timed for early-year reorganizations and onboarding, this ice-breaking and self-awareness program uses sense-awakening food materials such as herbs and spices to loosen stiff minds and let suppressed emotions surface naturally.

By designing ‘my own energy table’, participants check their goals for the year and their present state of mind.

Goals
  • Easing psychological distance and getting to know one another in newly formed teams
  • Self-checking current physical and emotional stressors through sensory stimulation
Outcomes
  • Faster adjustment for new hires and all employees
  • Early detection of stressors at the start of the year and support for a steady new start
Who it is for

New hires, members of reorganized departments, leaders and all employees

Q2 · Second quarter

Deep healing and a mind table for me

Burnout prevention and resilience

A sure remedy for first-half pressure and accumulated fatigue

A deep-healing solution for preventing burnout and strengthening resilience

Overview

At the time when first-half targets and accumulated fatigue push job stress to its peak, this advanced expressive arts program links neuroscience and positive psychology (the PERMA model) to support deep relaxation and recovery.

Stepping away from others’ eyes, participants design ‘a comforting table for me’ and cultivate self-compassion.

Goals
  • Relieving chronic job stress and preventing emotional exhaustion (burnout)
  • Strengthening each person’s resilience by activating positive emotions
Outcomes
  • Addressing the core ‘employee mental health protection’ indicator of global ESG disclosure standards (GRI 403)
  • Early care for people at high risk of burnout and sustained engagement at work
Who it is for

Emotional-labor roles, key practitioners and employees in roles at high risk of burnout

Q3 · Third quarter

Recipe of empathy: breaking down walls between departments

Building psychological safety

The magic of communication that breaks down walls and builds psychological safety

Healthy team partnership and a horizontal culture, completed with a recipe of empathy

Overview

A relationship-restoring program that prevents conflicts between departments and strengthens communication as projects and collaboration get fully under way in the second half.

In pairs or small groups, participants appreciate and encourage one another’s ‘mind tables’ through the PuKaShi activity (express with food, capture it with a camera, keep it as a poem), building non-verbal bonds.

Goals
  • Creating horizontal communication that crosses barriers of rank and department
  • Securing psychological safety in the organization through shared empathy among colleagues
Outcomes
  • Greater trust in cross-department collaboration and a better-quality organizational culture
  • Preventing turnover and strengthening cohesion through emotional bonds
Who it is for

Team leaders, employees of collaborating departments and those leading culture change

Q4 · Fourth quarter

Making micro-wellbeing routines part of daily life

Integrated reflection and sustainability

Warm comfort and a celebration of achievement for employees after a year of hard work

Sustainable human capital, completed by building micro-wellbeing routines into daily life

Overview

An integrated reflection program in which employees carrying year-end deadlines and performance reviews look back on the year’s emotional journey and celebrate one another.

Participants compose ‘a mind table of gratitude and achievement’ and set up ‘my own five-minute emotional care routine’ to practice at their office desks.

Goals
  • Emotional stability by relieving the year’s accumulated fatigue and encouraging one another
  • Sustainable self-care skills people can apply on their own, in daily life and at the office
Outcomes
  • Human-capital outcome data for the annual ESG sustainability report (Social area)
  • A healthy close to the year and positive energy for the year ahead
