Conversations with God 408: giving thanks to the Father who brings all things to fulfilment
I take out again, with the spelling tidied, the 408th record of my conversations with God, written on my blog on December 29, 2019.
The traffic accident last June, a time stopped at the crossroads of life and death, and the call of God the Father who saved me.
The conversations with God I began on December 31 — today is the 408th. Today again I begin with gratitude.
1. Days when the god of sleep came down, and I painted
Yesterday, too, the god of sleep came down on me. To stay awake for ten minutes, I needed five hours of sleep.
In the hours I was awake, I painted.
2. A bucket list from 20 years ago, and exhibitions
A bucket list written 20 years ago, and my first exhibition in 2016, where that dream came true

And from January 1, 2020, the Creative Convergence Healing Exhibition at the Chohyung Gallery in Insa-dong

The food expression mind journey works of FEAT experts of the Korea Food Expressive Arts Therapy Association from all over the country are being shown in Insa-dong, Seoul.
I am grateful to be part of it~♡ I love you~♡

3. Coffee paintings and cloth paintings
The coffee painting I finished retouching yesterday

I went all the way to Cheongju to entrust the framing to Lee Jong-hwa, head of Joseon Framing in Cheongju, who always does such kind and careful work.
Then I came home and finished the cloth painting. Now I have to write the calligraphy.

4. Bible verses written in brush calligraphy
But my body calls for sleep. Following the call of the god of sleep within me, I slept another ten hours.
I got up early in the morning, said my morning prayer, and wrote Bible verses in brush calligraphy.

Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established. (Proverbs 16:3)

In all that you do, you will prosper
He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season and whose leaf does not wither; in all that he does, he prospers. (Psalm 1:3)

5. My first cloth-painting bag
After writing the verses, I packed quince tea and peeled chestnuts and went at the agreed time to Seongseong Laundry to meet the owner, who had stayed up all night to finish the bags before setting off on a trip early in the morning.

My first cloth-painting bag. Thank you so much, sir~~~

6. A walk on a mild winter morning
A mild winter morning, a short walk

Even in the depths of winter, nature keeps its graceful form. How beautiful it is.

7. A prayer for the Feast of the Holy Family
O God, who gave us the Holy Family as a shining example of true life, grant that we may imitate their virtues and love and enjoy endless joy and happiness in your house.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.

My life beginning again after the traffic accident — everything is gratitude and love. Thank you~~~~
The word I pressed down firmly with my brush back then: “Commit your work to the Lord.”
Reading it again today, it sounds like the Father's voice speaking to me now as well.
I am grateful that I could sell those works at the time and help with my goddaughter's university tuition.
These days I look at myself to see whether I am relying wholly on the Lord and listening to the Lord's voice.
